Analyzing the Destruction of a Russian Strategic Bomber by Ukrainian Drone
The Moscow Times claims Russia doesn’t have the manufacturing capacity to build more, so every destroyed Russian bomber is a big loss for Russia and a big win for Ukraine.
On the morning of August 19, Ukraine destroyed one of Russia’s long-range strategic bombers using a drone to strike a Russian airfield in Novgorod Oblast.
Located between Saint Petersburg and Moscow, the airfield is just north of the town of Soltsy, about 400 miles from the Ukrainian border.
