Thanks for the update. Secrecy and discretion are probably quite good. I think more country could adopt that. Send stuff and then keep mom about exactly what you sent and when.
Good to hear what Romania,a frontline NATO ally is doing. They were an ally of Hitler and fielded large armies against Russia. Their defeat lead to occupation and a particularly odious communist dictatorship. Good news also that the Romanian Supreme Court kicked a pro-Putin politician off the PM ballot just days ago.
Romania wasn't an ally of Hilter. It was a neutral country and it was chopped by the Ribbentrop-Molotov treaty. A party of it (Bessarabia, the current Republic of Moldova) was taken by the USSR and a part of Transylvania was given to the then real ally of Hitler, Horthy's Hungary. After Operation Barbarossa failed, Hitler promised to the Romanian leaders Bessarabia back, and some lands from Ukraine, in exchange of entering the war on the side of the Germans. That's pretty much the history; this is why we fought with the fascists. After the war we had the Yalta agreement and so on...It's not easy in this part of Europe, so we try to do the best we can. As for the pro-Putin garbage politician, he wasn't very smart and broke the law. Luckily our democracy is not weak, like DJ Vance dreams.
Thanks for sharing this article! Interesting really!
