Trump promising peace smells like bull 💩. The only way Putin will accept peace is if he's kicked back across the Ukraine border so hard that they'll feel the shock waves in Japan.

No country that has ever been a victim of Russian aggression will ever believe that any potential concessionary deal placed on the table will stop Russia from trying to rebuild it's empire. Peace in our time will only come about if Russia is forced to withdraw completely and return the abducted Ukrainian children and adults plus forfeit the Russian funds held in other countries. Few would want Russia destroyed as a viable country but they do need to get out of other people's invaded countries. That covers more than just Ukraine. Trump is only wanting to save Russia at the expense of Ukraine and will do anything to conclude this in Russia's favour ready for the next invasion. If Trump and Putin survive this war, they should both be put on trial for their crimes.

Yes, Russia via Putin is a horrible actor. But, Trump this. Trump that isn't accomplishing anything

What he should do is say, "F you Russia. F you Ukraine. I've tried more than any elected leader.

No more weapons to Ukraine

No weapons to Europe

And if need be, good bye NATO.

I'm more concerned about the Islamic jihad coming here than Russia

Important point to keep in mind too. There is no opposition in Russia. Putin controls the narrative tightly, which helps him quite a lot. They say he was (is) a good chess player. Trump (taco) remains Putin’s puppet. Both can’t be trusted.

There’s no opposition in Ukraine either and any man who wants to report anything negative about the war effort or corruption is gonna find themselves reporting from a basement in a shelled out building on the front line.

Western media parrots the official line from Kiev and from neocon and neoliberal think tanks.

They have spent the last almost four years covering up Ukrainian losses and battlefield setbacks and now they’ve confused the audience by talking about a peace deal.

“How could Ukraine settle for giving up territory when they’re winning?!!” That’s a common type of question from people who were never interested in hearing bad news about their favorite team.
