Wes: Can you tell me what the missile is again.

I am a retired Combat Controller. That’s the guy who controls aircraft, into and out of a combat zone or a hot area. From your video, the chase aircraft was a 15 eagle, I couldn’t tell by the video what model it was, only that it was an eagle. I was wondering why we (U.S.) adapt the F15/F22 to fire that weapon platform?

Now, Is it possible to control the air over Ukraine with our current day modern fighters, ie: F-35 for command and control, (sort of the quarterback) with the main assault force of F15 E’s, A10’s for air to ground and F22’s for High Cap. As well as an assortment of Mirages, F16’s and support aircraft AWACS etc?

The reason why I ask is; I postulated, that if we (the free world, which I am still considering the U.S. as free) organize a strike package against Russia, we could own the air over Russia as well as Ukraine. This would force Russia, to capitulate, forcing a surrender, or they would use tactical nukes, which would change the entire World view about Russia, which would result in a counter attack with the same nuke package. Armageddon is upon us then.

As I am an old guy (70), I am not as well versed with the new technology, as our younger operators, but I would show up to help anyway. I could use a fast refresher course, but I’m still in the fight. Don’t laugh, I can still sit in an AWACS and talk my guys in and out of the hot zone!

A Veteran!
