Given that russia will try and destroy anything that Ukraine has and Ukraine will do the same I am watching through my fingers how close the russian satellite is getting to one of the the ICEYE ones at the moment. When one of the ICEYE staellites becomes Ukranian and if the 3 day SMO is still on-going I can imagine things becoming very kinetic up there very quickly.

I would consider that an attack on a NATO member: that is, assuming a Russian satellite can be seen approaching a Finnish satellite, then the Finnish satellite goes dark. Even if the exact mechanism for its destruction is unknown. The goal should be to deny Putin deniability like "oops, I don't know what happened. Must have been an accident" by publicizing every time Russia moves a bird anywhere near an allied commercial satellite. The gray area is NATO capabilities helping Ukraine, as you mentioned, could be fair game in Russia. Putin has already said NATO troops in Ukraine would be in play.

So as I understand it, one of the issues with satellite internet is just saturation. Meaning the more chatter in a certain footprint on earth the slower it gets, which is why Starlink as a consumer product if it is a success it will kinda suck. I would imagine the russians would have done this already but couldn't you just saturate Starlink satellites with literal junk traffic, a DDOS of sorts... No idea, I just know about the density issue and footprint not the underlying tech to this degree.
