Interesting. It certainly seems there was something. And that the Navy should have a lot of hard data from the encounter.

But releasing that would be a tough call - to not do so is certainly the safe option, from the perspective of those making the decision.

Releasing might be the right decision, but there is no upside, and potential major down-sides, to the decision makers from a release.

If something is moving in a way that defies our understanding of physics, they have a level of tech as beyond us as we are from Neanderthals. Realistically, what can we do since we don’t even know which of our weapons could be relied on to work? As in, imagine how Aztec or Incan warriors, veterans of countless battles felt when they encountered steel armored Spaniards for the first time felt. That is likely where we are at. God help us

And that is what scares me of the infancy of mankind regarding truly advanced technologies - "which of our weapons could be relied on to work (against them)?" If they have the technology to defy gravity and our understanding of aero/astro-dynamics, you know damn well they have technology for a more serious purpose; we would be like pygmies throwing rocks at the U.S.S. Nimitz.

If another civilization from out there (there, I've said it) has been observing us for 70+ odd years, I think if their intentions were nefarious they would have acted by now. I'm not overly worried about "them", because if they are out there, not much I/we can do about it.

Ordered Imminent,. Thanks for that. I too have little doubt everything we've been told, everything written, historically, is disinformation... Wouldn't it be wild to just know the truth?!

Fair enough, Wes. What I find strange, is that if someone or something is operating these advanced UAPs, how come they didn't realise that the Navy was training in the area? And how come they haven't developed truly stealthy aircraft? That doesn't seem like a tall order if you already have an aircraft that can defy the law of physics.
