Germany Will Soon Have the Most Powerful Military in Europe (Again)

Europe's largest economy will soon be Europe's largest military power

Germany is rapidly becoming Europe’s most powerful military, and the question is whether Europe is ready for that shift. In this video, I break down Berlin’s massive defense spending surge, new F-35s, expanding ground forces, and what it means for NATO’s balance of power.

Earlier this year, a German-linked wargame simulating a Russian attack on Lithuania involved 16 former senior NATO officials, military commanders, and security experts. In the scenario, Russia seized Lithuanian territory within three days while Europe hesitated. The Baltics were furious. That matters because Germany, after years of underinvestment, is now rewriting its constitution, building a €500 billion infrastructure fund, and openly aiming to make the Bundeswehr Europe’s strongest conventional army.

But the real issue isn’t just money or hardware. It’s whether Germany is willing to act when it matters.
